Urban design is embedded in our approach. Rummey Design is an acknowledged expert in designing large-scale developments - from new rural settlements to science parks & urban regeneration. We are also expert in smaller-scale infill & renewal projects.
Successful urban design comes through an understanding of the connecting strands of contemporary life. People, spaces, the natural world, economics, and information combine to make 'places'. The places we design are are viable, satisfying, and often beautiful.
Throughout our process we draw on a knowledge of the UK planning system. Working closely with collaborators and clients, we blend creative design with masterplanning thoroughly and holistically.
